This Privacy Policy describes how SlapMyHand | Pause Apps & Live ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Your selected list of apps to monitor
• Intervention preferences (breathing exercises, prompts, recorded messages)
• App open attempt counts and timestamps
• Scroll activity data within monitored apps
• Daily usage patterns and statistics
• Audio recordings you create for self-reminders

This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. It remains entirely on your device and under your control.

1.2 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, access, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Passwords, credentials, or financial information
• Messages, emails, or any on-screen text content
• Browsing history or content within apps
• Location data
• Contacts or call logs
• Photos, videos, or files on your device

2. Accessibility Service

SlapMyHand | Pause Apps & Live uses Android's Accessibility Service to provide its core functionality. This is required to detect when you open apps you have chosen to monitor.

2.1 How We Use the Accessibility Service

• App detection: The service detects when a monitored app is opened so the App can present a mindfulness intervention (breathing exercise, grounding prompt, or your recorded message).
• Scroll tracking: Scroll activity within monitored apps is tracked locally to provide you with usage insights and patterns.

2.2 What the Accessibility Service Does NOT Do

• It does not read, capture, or record any on-screen content, text, or images
• It does not access passwords, messages, or personal data displayed in other apps
• It does not transmit any data to external servers
• It does not interact with or modify other apps in any way

2.3 Your Control

You must explicitly enable the Accessibility Service in your device's Settings. You can disable it at any time, which will stop all app monitoring and intervention features. The App will continue to function for manual use but will not be able to detect app launches.

3. Advertising

SlapMyHand | Pause Apps & Live displays rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Rewarded ads are optional — you choose to watch an ad in exchange for in-app rewards (e.g., extra lives or features). No ads are shown without your explicit action.

3.1 Data Collected by AdMob

When you view a rewarded ad, Google AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers: Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• Ad interaction data: Views, clicks, and completion of rewarded ads
• IP address: Used for approximate location-based ad targeting
• Device information: Device model, OS version, and screen size

This data is collected and processed by Google for the purpose of third-party advertising. We do not have access to this data. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

3.2 Your Choices

• You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings
• On iOS, you can limit ad tracking via Settings > Privacy > Tracking
• On Android, you can reset your Advertising ID or opt out via Settings > Privacy > Ads
• Rewarded ads are entirely optional — the App functions fully without watching them

4. In-App Purchases

SlapMyHand | Pause Apps & Live may offer in-app purchases for premium features. These purchases are processed entirely by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not directly collect or store any payment information.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: For displaying rewarded advertisements. AdMob collects device identifiers and ad interaction data for advertising purposes. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases. We do not store payment information.
• Google Play Store / Apple App Store: For app distribution and updates.

We do not integrate any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs beyond AdMob.

6. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, your data is protected by your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a secure screen lock.

If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is automatically deleted by the operating system.

7. Children's Privacy

SlapMyHand | Pause Apps & Live is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App does not collect any personal data from any user, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's data.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Your Rights

Since all data remains on your device, you have full control at all times:

• Access: View all your data directly within the App's statistics and settings.
• Delete: Clear your data from within the App or by uninstalling it.
• Portability: Your data is stored locally and is not held by us.
• Opt-out: Disable the Accessibility Service at any time to stop monitoring.
